Maguire Shoes is an independent, direct-to-consumer fashion footwear company founded by sisters Myriam and Romy in Montreal. Driven by sheer determination and grit, they embarked on their entrepreneurial journey with a mission: to make high-quality shoes accessible to more people. Myriam, the President and Lead Designer, obtained a Footwear Diploma from Cordwainer’s College in London. Romy, with her multidisciplinary approach, joined as head of Operations and Marketing. Maguire launched online in 2017 with just one product and $15k. Today, they have stores in Montreal, Toronto, and New York City, and continue to champion transparency, quality, and fair prices in women’s footwear.
